Mass United matched the Philadelphia Fury goal-for-goal, but were unable to get their first win of the season in Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Washington Twp High School in Sewell, N.J.

The Fury jumped out to an early lead thanks to goals from Nic Kolarac the eighth minute. Seydou Ba made it a two-goal advantage in the 31st minute, putting the Riders on their heels.

But Lassana Sanha quickly brought one back in the 33rd minute, while Carlos Diniz equalized in the 37th minute. The Fury reclaimed the lead in the 36th minute from Scott McCoubrey. Mass United leveled it for good when Denivaldo DaSilva slotted it through in the 53rd minute.

Mass United will be back in action on Saturday when they host unbeaten Western Mass Pro Soccer Club.

Andres Perdomo scored a second-half equalizer to secure a road point for the Rhode Island Oceaneers in their 1-1 draw to Ironbound Soul on Saturday in Elizabeth, N.J.

Perdomo tallied in the 65th minute on a give-and-go with teammate Isaac Addai. The Rhode Island striker’s goal answered a sixth minute effort from Christiano Francois, who gave the Soul the early advantage.
