The friendly consisted of two 50-minute halves, with each half consisting of a different selection for the U-20s.
The Uruguay U-20s will play another friendly on Tuesday against club side Lavalleja.
Fagundez was one of 27 players called into the squad by head coach Fabian Coito. A final 23-man roster for the South American Youth Championship, which will run from Jan. 14 through Feb. 7 in Uruguay, will be announced on Friday.
This is the third time Fagundez has been called in by the Uruguay U-20s. He spent a week in camp with the team in October 2012 before appearing in two friendly games against Peru on Aug. 4 and Aug. 6 earlier this year.
