Diego Fagundez won’t be the only Revolution Academy product with a busy month ahead of him.

Midfielder Zachary Herivaux was named to the Haiti U-20 squad that will begin its qualifying campaign for U-20 World Cup.  Haiti’s first match will pit them against Canada on Saturday in Jamaica.

Herivaux previously featured for Haiti U-20s during its U-20 CONCACAF Championship campaign. He scored in a 10-0 rout of Turks & Caicos Islands in Group play on Jul. 20.

The former Shalrie Joseph SC midfielder has dual citizenship with the United States and Japan, where he was born.

The 18-year-old midfielder scored four goals in 13 games for the Revolution U-18 team during the 2013-14 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season.  Last winter, he joined the Revolution senior team for the Desert Diamond Cup preseason tournament in Arizona, making two substitute appearances.

Herivaux trained with Sporting Lisbon in 2011 and was offered a spot on one of the club’s youth teams, but declined the opportunity in order to stay with the Revolution Academy.

In 2011, Herivaux was named one of the top five U-17 players to watch by FourFourTwo magazine.
