The Revolution have moved its Apr. 15 home match vs. the Chicago Fire to Jun. 13 to avoid a scheduling conflict with the U.S. Men’s National Team international friendly vs. Mexico on the same date, per a club release.

“We originally agreed to play this game on a midweek date so as to avoid a FIFA international date on Jun. 13,” Revolution president Brian Bilello said in a club release on Thursday. “But with the U.S. National Team scheduled to play against Mexico on Apr. 15, we believe that this new date will be better for our fans.”

The Revolution will face the Fire three times in 2015. The Jun. 13 match, which will kick off at 7:30pm, will be the sole contest between the conference rival that will be played at Gillette Stadium. The match will be televised locally on Comcast SportsNet.

“We thank Major League Soccer, the Chicago Fire and Comcast SportsNet for helping to accommodate this change,” Bilello said.
