For the first time in 2015, midfielder Jermaine Jones is no longer on the Revolution injury report, but defenders Darrius Barnes (left knee sprain) and Chris Tierney (left ankle sprain) are both listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Union.

Jones made his regular season debut last weekend, but was limited to 45 minutes.

Tierney and Barnes joined midfielder Daigo Kobayashi (right hamstring strain) on the injury report. Kobayashi remains listed as questionable.

Tierney originally suffered the injury during the Revolution’s 2-0 win at Colorado, and missed last week’s 0-0 draw to Columbus. Barnes went the full 90 against Columbus, but was spotted in the locker room afterward with an ice pack on his left knee.

Following the Columbus game, Revolution coach Jay Heaps offered insight on Tierney’s status after the left back wasn’t listed on the injury report prior to the game.

“He took a pretty good knock in the Colorado game, so this week we tried to move him along a little bit,” Heaps said after the match. “But (we) realized he was going to be out for the game, so we were mindful of it. I think he’s close, but he couldn’t play today. We’ll see as Monday comes around where he’s at, but certainly he’ll be available next week.”
