Revolution center back Andrew Farrell is one of five players nominated for MLS Player of the Month for April after helping his squad keep opponents off the board from the run of play during the last four matches.

Farrell, who became a full-time center back this year, has been paired with three different partners in the heart of the Revolution defense during the last four matches alone. As a result, he’s played both center back positions.

The third-year defender has played every single minute this season, the lone Revolution field player to do so. During the month of April, the squad has gone 3-0-1.

Farrell is the first Revolution player nominated for monthly honors since Lee Nguyen won the award for October 2014.

Former Revolution midfielder Benny Feilhaber, who collected two goals and three assists in April, was also nominated.
