At Danbury, Ct., Pioneers keeper Nick Zucco stopped nine shots while his counterpart Steve Sasso denied Western Mass on five occasions in a match that featured plenty of open play. The draw kept both sides on four points, good for third place in the Northeast Division.

Real Boston Rams 0:1 GPS Portland Phoenix (PDL). At Milton, Mass., second half sub Peder Knoth unknotted a scoreless match in the 92nd minute to give the Phoenix a dramatic road victory. Goalkeeper Matthew Williams was called upon to make only one save to keep the sheet clean for the second straight match.

Mass United FC 2:0 Evergreen Diplomats (ASL) At Somerville, Mass. Lassanha Sahna opened the scoring on a 31st minute goal while Marc Djessouhno came off the bench to add an insurance goal in the 75th minute to give the Commonwealth-based club their fifth win of the season.
