Offseasoning: Davies Stays Busy, JoGo’s View from Home

Their season may have come to a close four weeks ago, but rest assured, a number of Revolution players are staying just as busy during the offseason.

Here’s a brief sampling of what some of them have been up to in the last few weeks.

Charlie Davies has been staying sharp locally, apparently partaking in some indoor scrimmages. Pretty darn cool when an MLS player – especially one as popular as Davies – shows up to the local indoor pitch.

But staying in shape isn’t the only thing the Revolution striker’s been doing this fall. With his alma mater making a deep run into the NCAAs, Davies has also dabbled in some broadcasting duties.

If you’re like many, you’ve probably wondered many times how Charlie Davies would rank Thanksgiving fare. Well, wonder no more.

Of course, Davies isn’t the only one with plenty going on this offseason. Skipper Jose Goncalves recently returned to his home in Switzerland not only to rest and relax, but to also provide us with some gorgeous shots of his neighborhood.

What was on JoGo’s plate on Thanksgiving? Well, it looked a lot like many of our plates.

Back to Boston: Striker Juan Agudelo and defender Darrius Barnes recently attended a local charity event with fellow Kraft Sports employee, Patriots safety Devin McCourty.

Honored to attend the champions for children's event! @d_barnes25 @mccourtytwins #BostonChildrens

Midfielder Zachary Herivaux is currently in Portugal training with Revolution affiliate Sporting CP, an outfit he reminded us he’s pretty familiar with.

Lastly, defender Andrew Farrell shared the results of a recent card game with his parents.

Rents are smiling but down low they are cut cause they took another L in game night #famgoals #squadgoals ????????
