The Revolution touched down in Casa Grande, Ariz. Tuesday for a 10-day stay that will see them train and scrimmage in a considerably warmer climate than the one currently found here in New England (though it’s not too bad in Norfolk County right now).

Based on what’s been reported from the expansive oasis known as Grande Sports Complex, the club wasted no time getting acclimated to their southwestern digs on Tuesday afternoon. Check out these shots from the omnipresent Jeff Lemieux.

The sun rose on Wednesday, as expected. And as such, the Revolution hit the training pitch for their first full day of training in the dry and comfortable southwestern air.

In case you missed it, the Revolution now have four keepers in camp with the addition of Fairfield alum Jeff Turner, who recently joined the team on trial. Turner, as well as MLS veteran Jeb Brovsky and Southern New Hampshire defender Dominic Samuel, comprise the latest crop of trialists for preseason fare. Sadly, Brovksy’s glorious mustache from last year did not make the trip.

If you want to get a sense of what the squad will be doing down in Casa Grande, you can either play the following video on a loop and have it lull you into a trance for the next eight days, or you can crank up the heat in your home to 70, and do a bunch of wall passes in your living room. We’re cool with either, and both at the same time.

Meanwhile, not terribly far from Casa Grande, a certain Revolution midfielder was just as hard at work, albeit with a different set of teammates….
