- Updated: April 9, 2016
Revolution rookie fullback Jordan McCrary was sent to the club’s USL affiliate in Rochester ahead of the Rhinos’ contest against the Richmond Kickers on Saturday.
The Revolution’s first-round pick in the 2016 draft will suit up for the USL side before rejoining the Revolution for training next week. The North Carolina alum has yet to make the gameday roster during the Revolution’s first five games of the season.
McCrary played 195 minutes over five preseason contests for the Revolution, and scored a goal against Vancouver on Feb. 6.
Last week, reserve midfielder/defender Donnie Smith was also briefly loaned to the USL side for the club’s match at Pittsburgh on Apr. 2, a game in which he went the full 90.
