Breakers Get Point in Seattle

The Boston Breakers fought back from a deficit to pocket a road point in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Seattle Reign FC at Memorial Stadium in Seattle, Wash.
After Nahomi Kawasumi put Reign FC ahead in the 32nd minute, the guests leveled it in the 43rd minute on an Adriana Leon goal, which was set up from a Christen Westphal, who earned her first pro assist on the play.
Breakers keeper Abby Smith made her return between the sticks, collecting five save to help preserve the point.
Saturday’s draw allowed the Breakers to improve to 14 points (3-6-5) while Reign FC went to 21 points (5-3-6). It also extended Boston’s unbeaten streak to four (1-0-3), their longest since 2013.
The Breakers will look to make it five straight on Jul. 22 at Houston against the Dash. Kickoff is 8:30pm ET.
