Boston College, Boston University, and Harvard University are among the 64 schools that earned bids for the 2011 NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Championship after the tournament brackets were released on Monday.
Up at the Heights, Boston College went 11-5-2, and finished fourth in the perennially competitive Atlantic Coast Conference. Downcity, Boston University went 18-2-1 and secured the America East Conference title. Out in Cambridge, Harvard went clinched their third Ivy League title in four years with a 12-4-1 record, and are currently riding the momentum of a 10-game unbeaten streak.
Coincidentally, BU and Harvard will meet this weekend for their first round matchup, which will take place on Saturday at 12pm at Nickerson Field in Boston. BC will host its first round tie against Marist College at Newton Soccer Field on Sunday at 1pm.
