Breakers Release 2012 Schedule

The Boston Breakers get their first season in the WPSL Elite League started on May 10 against Charge MD in Maryland, according to the team’s official schedule. A venue and start time has not yet been announced.

The former WPS franchise kick off their home slate the following week at Dilboy Stadium, where they’ll face FC Indiana on May 18. The home opener is scheduled to start at 7:00pm.

Among the notable matchups on the schedule: a pair of matchups against Commonwealth rival New England Mutiny on June 20 (home) and Jul. 7 (road). The Breakers also face former WPS sides Western New York Flash (May 26 and July 22), and the Chicago Red Stars (June 3 and June 30) in the course of their 14-game schedule.
