Revolution midfielder Ryan Guy played 75 minutes in his international debut on Tuesday, but it wasn’t enough to give Guam the win, as they fell 1-0 to the Philippines.

The game, which marked Guam’s first game in the Peace Cup, was played at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila.

According to a report, the Matao employed a direct approach against the Azkals, but could not find the back of the net. Second-half sub Patrick Reichelt scored the lone goal of the game in the 81st minute.

Guy played 90 minutes in last Saturday’s 1-1 draw to New York and embarked on a 22-hour flight to the Phillipines on Sunday in order to arrive in time for Tuesday’s match.

Guy and his Guam teammates will return to action on Thursday when they face Taiwan.
