Mass United FC Owner/Manager Jim Antonakas didn’t have to search very far to find his new general manager.
Jonathan Langlois, who’s been with the club since its inception in 2009, was named general manager on Wednesday.
“I believe Jon is the right person for the job,” said Antonakas in a statement. “He has been with us from day one of this journey and he understands our organization…I know he’ll do well.”
The Lynn (Mass.) native previously served as Director of Game Day Operations, and has been involved in many aspects of the club’s day-to-day management.
“I am very excited to be given this opportunity,” said Langlois in a statement. “It has been great working for Mass United as Director of Game Day Operations and I feel the club is ready to take the next step towards being the best organization in New England.”
The Riders finished fifth in the NPSL Northeast Atlantic Conference in 2012.
