USL: Rudy Makes Rhinos Debut in Win

Revolution loanee Tyler Rudy made his USL debut in a 2-1 Rochester Rhinos victory over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Rudy, who was loaned to the Rhinos on Friday, came on in the 85th minute for Alex Dixon, who scored the game-winner in the 52nd minute. Rhinos midfielder Tony Walls opened the account in the 28th minute while midfielder Max Touloute tied in the 49th minute.

Revolution midfielder/forward Timi Mulgrew, who was also loaned to Rochester on Friday, did not make the gameday 18. Providence College alumnus Marcos Ugarte entered the game as an 80th minute substitute for Jonny Mendoza.

The Rhinos return to action on Apr. 11 against FC Montreal at Stade Saputo.
