Southie FC learned more about its path through the National Amateur Cup tournament after the Region 1 bracket was revealed on Monday.

The Boston-based outfit will play an opponent to be determined from the Mid-Atlantic Showcase Soccer League in the Region 1 quarterfinals on Apr. 17.

The other quarterfinal involving sides from the region will pit New Hampshire’s Manzonilla against the winner of the Apr. 3 play-in match between Lansdowne Bhoys (N.Y.) and Newtown Pride (Ct.).

Southie, Manzonilla, and Newtown Pride are all vying to become the first New England club to win the Amateur Cup title since Battery Park Gunners accomplished the feat in 2012.

Southie recently competed in a scrimmage against the Providence College men’s soccer team in preparation for their upcoming MSSL season. The Boys in Neon will also be competing in the U.S. Open Cup tournament, which kicks off on May 11.
