- Updated: May 11, 2016
Boston City FC striker Yaw Addow returned from suspension to score his second goal in as many games, steering his squad to a 2-1 road win over the Seacoast United Mariners on Wednesday at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham, Me.
Addow, who collected the first goal in club history before he was sent off in Boston City’s debut match on May 1, tallied inside of 15 minutes after latching onto a well-weighted long ball from Gabriel Da Souza.

Before the break, teammate Jhonata Batista corralled a Jadilson Vieira pass and scored to make it a two-goal margin in the 44th minute. The Mariners brought one back on a 75th minute strike from Drew Parsons.
With the win, Boston City improved to 2-1-0 (6 points) while the Mariners dropped Wednesday’s season-opener to fall to 0-1-0 (0 points).
Boston City will return to action on Saturday when they face the Mariners’ fellow Seacoast United affiliate, the Phantoms, at Amesbury Sports Park in Amesbury, Mass.
The Mariners will get another crack at win no. 1 on Friday against New York Cosmos B at Mitchel Stadium in Uniondale, N.Y.
