Pioneers Score 5 in Preseason Warmup

Ryan Malone scored a pair of first half goals to lead the Western Mass Pioneers to a 5-0 preseason win over Milford Lusitano FC Sunday at Lusitano Stadium.

Malone’s goals gave the Pioneers a 2-0 lead going into the half. Chris Roswess, Brandon Wilson and Thiago Andrade all scored in the second half to give the hosts a comfortable victory.

Western Mass kicks off its regular season campaign on Friday when they host the Seacoast United Phantoms at Lusitano Stadium. The game is set to start at 7pm.
