Reds Succumb to Brooklyn 2-1

The Reds conceded a halftime lead after Brooklyn mounted a second half comeback to clinch a 2-1 win on Saturday.

Wilmer Arbodela’s 26th minute goal gave Rhode Island the lead, but Cristian Turizo equalized it in the 62nd minute.

Moriken Sangary scored the game-winner in the 73rd minute to lift the Italians in a physical game that featured two red card ejections to Arthuer Kulkov (BK) and Tyler Rosa (RI).

The Reds return to action on Jun. 9 against the New York Athletic Club at Cranston Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5pm.
