Fury Breaks Boston’s Heart in Stoppage Time

Ottawa striker William Beague scored in added time on Saturday to help the Fury beat Boston Victory, 1-0, at Oliver Ames High School in North Easton, Massachusetts.
With the scored knotted at 0-0 after 90 minutes, Beague took a pass from midfielder Drew Beckie and was able to beat Victory goalie Vinny Papageorglou to get the full three points.
Papageorglou finished with three saves while Fury keeper Nils Carlson had one save.
Ottawa is in sole possession of first place in the Northeast Division with 19 points, one ahead of the Seacoast United Phantoms. Boston is in seventh at 2-6-1 and is tied for fewest goals scored in the division.
