Dimitry Imbongo scored before the interval, but it didn’t stop the Impact from claiming a 3-1 win over the Revolution in Reserve Division action on Monday.
Montreal opened up a two-goal lead thanks to tallies from Zachariah Massoudi (31′) and Sinisa Ubiparipovic (42′). Imbongo cut the lead in half in the 45th minute, but first-round pick Andrew Wenger effectively put the game out of reach in the 61st minute.
The Revolution reserves featured two European guest players in its starting XI: midfielder Mark Kerr (formerly of Dundee United) and center back Ivica Majstorovic (Kerkyra F.C.).
The Revolution reserves return to action at 10am on Sept. 7 when they host Toronto’s reserves at Gillette Stadium.

Did you see this game? If so, how did the trialists do in your opinion?
Hey Chris B, wasn’t able to catch the game. Would’ve liked to have seen how Kerr and Majstorovic meshed with the rest of the squad.
