This is a really cool new feature, guys! I’ve always liked your articles and I’ve heard you on podcasts, but it’s pretty cool to see you guys on video!

I agree with the first 3 topics you talked about.

Regarding number 4, the ASG format, I can’t decide what is better. The thing I like about the current format is that it is MLS united against a foreign opponent, which allows fans a great experience of seeing a foreign club, but they are able to root for MLS as a whole instead of choosing East or West. However, from a player standpoint, East vs West may be the better option because it would allow for more players and less “snubs”. I think Jose Goncalves would definitely be an All Star if it was East v West and I think the players would be more accustomed to each other due to being teammates or conference rivals.

So, while I’m ok with the current format, I’d like to see them try East v West again.

    Hey Chris,

Thanks for checking it out! I like the current format as well. I think it creates a bigger stage, so to speak, when you have a foreign club come in to play the All-Stars. But I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing East v. West again, either, just to see how far the league’s come since 2004, the last time they went with that format. I’d venture a guess you’d get two very, very good squads, and of course, fewer snubs.
