Oxford United set for Boston trip

English League Two side Oxford United has added Boston to their list of preseason destinations. Using their connections with the Hampton, New Hampshire based Seacoast United, Oxford is planning a eight day training stint in the area, featuring three matches.

Oxford United may play the Revolution this summer.

According to BBC Sport, the club has been in talks with the New England Revolution about a friendly match, potentially behind closed doors. With the reserve team back in action this season, a potential fixture added to the Revs reserves schedule of just 10 games seems more likely.

The fourth division English club currently sits just a point out of a playoff spot.
