Dominik Machado kicked off the scoring with a third minutes strike while Fabio Machado made it a two-goal gap going into the interval. The ageless Bo Vuckovic tallied for Vermont in the 56th minute.

RI Reds 1:2 Brooklyn Italians

Heading southbound along I-95, the Rhode Island Reds found a 90th minute goal from Dallas Donovan, but it wasn’t enough as the Brooklyn Italians grabbed a 2-1 win on Saturday at Cranston Stadium.

Yvener Guerrier scored twice for the Italians in the 45th and 90th minutes to secure all three points getting on a bus for the ride back to the Empire State.

The Reds will remain at Cranston Stadium on Saturday when they host the New York Red Bulls U-23s. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm.

New York Red Bulls U-23s 6:0 Greater Lowell United FC

Meanwhile, the Red Bulls U-23s handed Greater Lowell United FC a 6-0 loss on Saturday in New Jersey. The Green Dragons will be back on the pitch in pursuit of their first win on May 25 when they face the Red Bulls U-23s again, this time at Cawley Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:05pm.
