USL: Spangenberg Collects Shutout in Kickers Cameo

Revolution third-string goalkeeper Trevor Spangenberg collected a clean sheet to help the Richmond Kickers claim a 1-0 win over FC Montreal at Stade Saputo on Saturday.
Spangenberg, who was loaned to the Kickers on Friday after the USL side found itself short on keepers, got the start and helped Richmond record their fourth-consecutive shutout.
Matthew Delicate scored Richmond’s goal in the 31st minute. It was his 200th career point for the Kickers.
Spangenberg will return to the Revolution following Saturday’s cameo.
