Report: Lletget to Galaxy, Allocation Money to Revs

The Los Angeles Galaxy are set to sign 22-year-old American midfielder Sebastian Lletget, but will have to transfer allocation money to the New England Revolution, who have his discovery rights, to do it, according to a report on Lletget joined West Ham United in 2009 and appeared in a few FA Cup matches, but despite making the gameday 18 on a few occasions, never played in a Premier League game.

According to the report, the Galaxy have been in talks with Lletget for months, but the Revolution put in a discovery claim for the midfielder before the Galaxy and thus have priority to sign him. The Galaxy are expected to give  the Revolution allocation money—believed to be around $50,000—in exchange for the rights to sign him. Lletget has appeared for various U.S. Youth National Teams.

The Revolution declined to comment on the report.
