USL: Mulgrew, Rudy Absent as Rhinos Stay Unbeaten

Revolution loan players Tyler Rudy and Timi Mulgrew were both absent from Saturday’s 0-0 draw between the Rochester Rhinos and Toronto FC II at BMO Field.

Rudy and Mulgrew were both seen at Gillette Stadium following the conclusion of the Revolution’s 1-1 draw to DC United.

Meanwhile, Providence College alum Marcos Ugarte made his third start for the Rhinos on Saturday. He went 60 minutes before he was subbed off for Steevan Dos Santos.

Rhinos goalkeeper Brandon Miller made a pair of saves to pick up his fourth clean sheet of the season.

With the draw, the Rhinos improved their record to 6-0-4 (22 points), remaining three points ahead of the second place Charleston Battery in the USL Eastern Conference.

Rochester returns to action on Wednesday for a third round U.S. Open Cup tie against Harrisburg City Islanders in Harrisburg, Pa. They’ll resume league action on Saturday when they host Montreal Impact II at Sahlen’s Stadium.
