Revolution midfielder Diego Fagundez is apparently a wanted man in Italy.

After a Jan. 2015 report linked him to Atalanta, the 20-year-old midfielder is being sought by Serie A’s Palermo, according to a report from Sicily’s Giornale Di Sicilia.

The report cites an assertion from Palermo coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto, who played in MLS for the Columbus Crew from 2007 to 2010, that his club is ready to bring in reinforcements. Fagundez, who holds a European passport, was cited as one of the players Schelotto wants to acquire.

Palermo’s reported interest in the Revolution midfielder comes only two weeks after he signed a contract extension with the MLS side.

The transfer window for Serie A opened on Jan. 1 will run through Feb. 2.
