An image of what appears to be the Revolution’s new secondary jersey was leaked on Saturday, less than 24 hours prior to its official unveiling.
Footy Headlines, which has routinely leaked new kits in advance of their release in recent years, supplied a preview of the Revolution’s 2017-18 secondary shirt on Saturday.
The jersey is the first in club history to feature a half-and-half design, with white on the left side and red on the right. The right sleeve also features the club’s founding year – 1996 – on the right sleeve, a detail that was leaked by the club earlier in the week.

Images of the shorts and socks that’ll accompany the jersey have not yet been released.
The Revolution will officially unveil their secondary kits on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
The club previously sported a predominantly red secondary kit, a look worn during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

If this is our next secondary jersey then I like it alot. I was afraid, with the sneak peaks, that the new kit was going to be a boring all-white kit. I am now excited to see the official secondary kit reveal. I love our primary kits, so this would be a very nice compliment as our secondary kits.

Hi Robert, it’s certainly not boring! I’m not the biggest fan of the half-and-half look, but I’ll reserve judgment until I see them on the field.

Nice but the crest needs to go time for a more traditional design.
