The Friars outshot the Bulldogs 18-9 en route to their second straight victory following Saturday’s win over the University of Rhode Island.
“I’m delighted with the result,” Providence head coach Craig Stewart told the school’s site after the match. “We got the clean sheet and got some goals on the other side of that, so we’re happy with the result.”
Providence returns to action on Saturday when they host Harvard. Kickoff is 7:00pm.
