It appears that the Revolution’s already-thin roster is about get even thinner – at least temporarily.
The club announced this afternoon that midfielder/forward Kenny Mansally and midfielder Sainey Nyassi have both been recalled to the Gambian National Team for the African Nations Cup qualifier against Nimibia on Saturday, September 4th. As a result, both will miss tomorrow’s SuperLiga final and Saturday’s league game against Seattle.
Without their starting right-sided midfielder and withdrawn forward, the Revolution will turn to Marko Perovic to take over Nyassi’s spot on the right, while a fully-healthy Kheli Dube will make his first trip to the pitch since June 27th as withdrawn forward in Mansally’s absence.
