Real Boston Adds Wheaton College’s Finkelstein

A week after naming Paxton Ballard as their first committment for the 2013 season, the Reál Boston Rams announced the addition of Wheaton College midfielder Luke Finkelstein to its roster.

Playing as a #5 since his days in the Peabody Youth Soccer program, Finkelstein was one of the first New England Revolution U-16 players from back in 2008 and now joins the Rams’ ranks as a “quality player (with)… a great attitude, hard work ethic,” according to Head Coach Jim Costa in the official press release.

Also on his resume is time spent with the Aztec Soccer Club (2007) as well as with the FC Greater Boston Bolts (2009), known for training numerous New England soccer pros such as Charlie Davies, Chris Tierney, and Diego Fagundez.

On the subject of joining the Rams, Finkelstein says, “The professionalism from the club has been great. I’m very motivated and ready for the season to start. I just want to help the club go as far as we can. I’m looking to improve as a player and help promote the club in any way I can.”
