Amateur Cup: Mass. Final Slated for Saturday

Battery Park Gunners and Mass Premier Soccer will play in the Massachusetts state final of the National Amateur Cup tournament at 1:30pm on Dec. 1 at Madison Park High School in Boston.

As reigning champions, Battery Park is intent on bolstering its reputation as the best amateur club in country. They punched their ticket to the state final following a 1-0 win over 2010 champion Boston Olympiakos on Nov. 11.

On the other end of the pitch, Mass Premier enters the contest riding the momentum of their 4-2 overtime victory over Mass Premier FC on Nov. 11.

The winner of Saturday’s contest will advance to the Region 1 portion of the tournament.
