Local Stars Listed on Top Drawer Soccer Big Board

Six players from New England division 1 soccer programs are listed on the latest Top Drawer Soccer’s Big Board, which was released on Wednesday.

Connecticut forward Carlos Alvarez is the highest-ranked prospect at #9. Boston College midfielder Kyle Bekker comes in next at #16, followed by Providence midfielder Marc Cintron (#37), Boston College forward Charlie Rugg (#41), Boston College midfielder Colin Murphy (#48) and Brown defender Dylan Remick (#65).

All six have been invited to the MLS Combine, which kicks off on Friday and will run through Tuesday, Jan. 15 at Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Fla. Joining them will be Boston University midfielder Michael Bustamante, who received an invitation on Thursday.

The MLS SuperDraft will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 17 in Indianapolis.
